eStore Delivery Arrangement

Local delivery/Store pick-up service

SOGO eStore offer the following delivery services:
Standard Delivery Service
SF Locker / SF Store self-pick up#
Pick-up at SOGO Kai Tak Store

In order to ensure food quality, we will separate the fulfillment of frozen food and standard goods respectively.
Free delivery or SF Locker / SF Store self-pick up are available upon purchase with specified category at below amount (after discount).
Standard goods: HK$600
Frozen food: HK$600
Delivery fee of HK$90 will be charged upon purchase below the designated amount**. It will be charged automatically during check-out of the shopping cart.

Pick-up at SOGO Kai Tak Store
It is only applicable to selected beauty products and freshmart goods only, excluding frozen food. Please refer to the individual item pages for details.
Free store pick-up service is available upon purchase of selected goods at HK$300 or above (net amount).
For orders below HK$300 (net amount), pick-up additional charge will be HK$30. It will be charged automatically during check-out of the shopping cart.

* A tunnel surcharge of HK$170 will be charged for delivery to Discovery Bay.
** Example: If customers purchase HK$400 in standard goods and HK$200 in frozen food, $90 delivery fee for each category (total HK$180) will be charged.

Mainland China delivery service

Delivery service to Mainland China is only applicable to selected beauty brands, babies' & kids’ and other designated goods only. Please refer to the individual item pages for details. Customer needs to bear the shipping fee and tax for Mainland China delivery. The estimated tax rate is 13-50% of the declared value and the final tax amount is subject to China Customs' final decision. If one order includes both items can and cannot be delivered to Mainland China, we will contact customer by email for the refund of related products and customer may need to bear extra shipping fee. 

For orders below HK$600 (net amount), shipping fee will be HK$90. It will be charged automatically during check-out of the shopping cart.

For orders at HK$600 or above (net amount), shipping fee per parcel will be HK$75 for the first 1kg and additional HK$16 for each additional 1kg. Shipping fee will not be charged at the shopping cart. After the order is confirmed, SOGO will send you an email within 1-2 working days from the date of order for the payment of shipping fee.

According to the regulations of China Customs, the declared value of a parcel containing 2 or more items shall not exceed RMB800, or the declared value of a parcel containing 1 single and indivisible item can exceed RMB800. For order over RMB800, free gifts and items in the value set are counted separately as individual items. Therefore, the order may be delivered separately by multiple parcels based on total value and quantity limit, which may incur higher shipping fee.

When will my goods be delivered?

Most of products from SOGO eStore will be checked at SOGO Causeway Bay Store before delivery. Please be patient for the delivery.

In normal local delivery circumstances, you will receive SMS with confirmed delivery date or email with tracking number within 3 working days from the date of order. Goods would be delivered within 7 working days^.
If a single order includes products in different categories, we may deliver the products on different dates.

Pick-up at SOGO Kai Tak Store
When your payment is successful, system will send a confirmation email with pick-up number and period to your registered email address. Goods would be ready for pick-up within 4 working days^ from the date of order. To pick up the order, please present the pick-up number code for collection.

^ the confirmed delivery date subject to the actual situation (including but not limited to inventory, transportation, logistics, etc.)

For Mainland China, after the shipping fee is settled, you will be notified with S.F. Express tracking number by email in 3 working days. Once you receive the tracking number, please visit SFHK official website, input the tracking number and upload recipient identification documents for customs clearance within 5 calendar days. 
After customs clearance is completed, S.F. Express will contact you for settling the tax payment before the delivery. You need to pay S.F. Express for the related 13%-50% tax rate and the actual amount is subject to China Customs’ final decision. The parcels will then be delivered to you once the tax payment is settled. 

Delivery/Store pick-up coverage

SOGO eStore’s delivery service covers Hong Kong SAR locations (except Outlying Islands and Container Terminals) and Mainland China.
Store pick-up will only be available at SOGO Kai Tak Store.

Delivery arrangements in local remote areas

Delivery to Hong Kong International Airport, Ma Wan, Discovery Bay and Tung Chung will only be available on Friday.

Other extra charge

For local delivery, a surcharge of HK$50 per floor would be applied if there is no elevator at stated delivery address*. A redelivery charge of HK$90 will be applied in case of second delivery is needed for any reasons*.
* The extra charge for frozen food and standard goods will be charged separately.

For Mainland China delivery, if customers fail to upload the recipient’s identification document or the submitted identification document do not meet the requirements or customers do not pay the related tax, the parcels will be returned to SOGO. All the losses and damages there arisen shall be borne by the customer solely and no refund will be accepted.
If customs clearance is not successful and it is not related to failure of identification documents upload, parcels will be returned to SOGO in around 3-6 months depending on the return procedures of China Customs and S.F. Express. We will arrange a refund of purchased items after deducting all the extra cost within 4-6 weeks once the parcel is received.

Disclaimer

SOGO and its affiliates, staffs, dealers and any engaged third parties shall not be liable to (i) any losses or damages of the delivered goods; or (ii) the goods being contaminated due to any person or reason which is either not suitable for human consumption or affect the health of consumers causing personal injuries and death, both of which arising from the customer's request to deliver the goods to the door of designated address unattended, or have the goods received by the designated management office of the building on behalf of the customers.
